Xtctje helpt TheLastResort op The Party en AEF

Het Call of Duty 4-team van The Last resort, die onlangs nog als enige team uit de benlux er in slaagde om door de groepsfases van CIC7 te komen, kondigde vandaag een extra speler aan voor hun line-up.

Niemand minder dan Jeroen "Xtctje" Tübee zal de komende maanden meespelen met TLR. Xtctje, die vooral bekend was van zijn tijd bij Sample This en op CIC7 ook bij DOK-gaming speelde, zal op The Party te zien zijn in plaats van Danny "DEKO" Meeuwsen en op het Antwerp Esports Festival in plaats van Robert "mean" Kouters.

DEKO kan er op The Party niet bij zijn omdat hij naar een voetbalmatch tussen Everton en West Ham United zou gaan kijken. Verder had mean op het moment dat het Antwerp Esports Festival plaats vindt, al een reis geboekt naar Floride die hij nu nog onmogelijk kon afzeggen. Bij deze zal Xtctje dus telkens hen vervangen en is er als het ware een soort van 6-mans line-up.

"After an, in my eyes, dissapointing CIC7 I decided to call it a day for a while, after which I told my team mates I would no longer be a part of DOK Gaming. Obama from TLR contacted me, wondering if I could replace DEKO at the Dutch The Party LAN, since he's going to England to watch an Everton game. I have known all the TLR players for quite a long time, have played with most of them in a team already and there is always a great atmosphere in the team.

After I played a couple of games with them obama asked me to replace mean at AEF, because he's in Florida at that point. This was a suprise for me, because it was only for The Party and after that I would have just quit. I'm happy to be one of the TLR players now and since no one is dropping out from the lineup for now we will play with 6 in the coming months. I want to thank obama and of course the TLR sponsors: ZOWIE, VeryGames, KEYSONIC, ICY-BOX and the Gaming-Collection."

"After Danny told me about the Everton game the 4th of April I realised it was the final day of the Party. We didn't hesitate and after a short chat with the others we contacted Jeroen to stand in. After we played a couple of games it felt good and I also asked him for the AEF next July. Lucky for us he said yes, so we started to practise with him directly to prepare as good as possible for The Party, because we don't want to underestimate any of the teams going there.

I have no idea what the coming months will be like, since mean can't attend AEF and we haven't decided yet how to handle things exactly. I however don't expect many problems. Our first official game with Jeroen was yesterday versus PGS, which we feel went well. I want to end with shoutouts to the TLR sponsors: ZOWIE, VeryGames, KEYSONIC, ICY-BOX, the Gaming-Collection and of course Mike, our manager."
