Team Infused win TLD LAN

Hosted in Denmark last week, the TLD (The Last Danes) LAN event has come to a close with Team Infused coming out on top, as expected.

Team Infused went into the event as clear favouritse, being ranked the 9th best Call of Duty 4 team in the monthly Cadred CoD4 rankings. However, tough competition in the form of Roskilde Ravens, VIP Gaming and XLBET was present to keep them on their toes.

Coming through the group stages relatively easily, the primarily Danish side didn't lose a single map until they faced Roskilde Ravens in the Upperbracket Final, where they lost 9-13 on Crossfire after taking the first map in overtime. However, they kept their nerve and won 2-1 after a close game on Backloy. Knocked into the Lowerbracket, the Ravens faced off against VIP Gaming in the consolation final, which they breezed through 2-0 to earn themselves the chance to replay their rivals Team Infused.

Unfortunately for them, Infused proved too strong and took the gold in only 1 map, winning themselves 3500 DKK (about €470).
