mousesports star Antonio "cyx" Daniloski last night perished in a car accident on his way home from Frankfurt airport.

The German team was earlier today reported not to play in the IEM5 Global Challenge, following Antonio "cyx" Daniloski missing his flight. mousesports have now issued a statement which states that Daniloski yesterday died in a car accident on his way home from Frankfurt airport.

Daniloski had missed his flight yesterday and was on his way home from Frankfurt airport, when one of the tires on the car punctured causing an accident in which the 19 year old German sustained fatal injuries.

Daniloski joined mousesports in July 2007 and has up until his death played a significant role for the German squad in its quests around the world.

We would like to send our condolences to Daniloski’s family in this difficult time and invite all of you to do the same.

The rest of the mousesports have already begun their journey back to German, as the team will not be participating in the IEM5 Global Challenge Shanghai, following the death of Daniloski.
